Just got back from the Ford swap meet in Bellville,MI.Got a prime pair of '41 Ford rear wishbones($40.) and A good Corvair steering box with Pitman arm ($25.) I did good!
I just got back myself,........ Sunday night at 9:00 P.M. It was a really good Swap Meet for me, I got to meet several HAMBers, a lot of old friends, including Dave Lukari, I was set up in the big building, Scores!,... Fri. Night I walk past a guys spot and he had a pair of "Forsite Venture wheels" asked him how much ? he said $15.00 ( hit #1),...32 Ford closed car Windshield frame $15.00 ( Hit #2),.... "New" grill for my Super duty $30.00 (hit#3), Close call's, I was walking up on a guys spot that had some chrome 40 brakes complete with drums, looked like they would clean up, I look up and see a guy I know "Fred" he spots me and almost runs to the the brakes,... He bought them for $30.00 ( later seen them on his tarp for $150.00) What a great guy ! I almost bought a pair of chrome 35/36 rear wishbones,... but the guy and I coulden't settle on a price. I Sold two 29 Mod A tudors and both guys are going to build "Traditional Hot Rods" out of them, this made me feel good,.......... all in all, a very good, Very HOT "Dearborn 06"
Went to the Rotorua Swapmeet last weekend and scored a English wheel, with 3 anvil wheels for $250 NZ Dollars..bout $120 usd !! I,m pretty happy
