Have been off the HAMB and just about everything else. The storm took out my power for the last nine days. We just got it back this afternoon. So I did OK. I really did not get too depressed. I can see no one missed me. I am still getting Alerts when someone posts a new thread. So I guess not much has changed. That's a good thing. Great to be back!
Glad to hear you have your power back. We lucked out and didn't lose power but have tons of tree damage.
I don't have a computer, just my phone. I learned the hard way wrap my phone in Saran Wrap. I never have sinus problems after snorting cola through nose. Thanks![emoji38] Sent from my SM-S320VL using Tapatalk
A day without Hamb is like a day with only the Other Eggs...welcome back @ct1932ford...glad your okay hope the damage isn't too extensive.
For a lot of reasons 2020 will go down in books as a weird year. Glad you made it through the storms. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Mark, I'm glad you are OK, I did notice your absence but thought you guys may have slipped of to visit the Grand kids. HRP
we did miss you - the site shut down for a few days as we went looking for you - but, someone posted pics from Bonneville and that was end of our hunt for you - did leave a trail of parts for you to find your way back - Ha!
Mark, Glad you’re back! 9 days without power in this heat sure ****s. We had it pretty good only loosing internet for 6 days. Cell phone service was weak probably because everyone on it. With it being 2020, we’re on the lookout for locusts or frogs falling out of the sky or something like that next.
ct, we got our power back Friday night after loosing it Tuesday morning. on the North Shore of Long Island. About 3 years ago we lost power for about a week and I purchased a generator and it was a great investment. This was only a tropical storm, but I have never seen more trees down before this. I wish they would put the lines underground.
I'm on the south shore by the bay bridges. I lost power 2x for about 7 hours each time. Some branches came down but I got off easy compared to some.
Mark, if nothing else you got a break from the News ( not here)! If you're like me, I stopped watching the news so long ago I forget when that was. Anyhow, glad to see that you are safe and sound.
got to love Wallingford, We lost power for an hour, I looked out and they were fixing the problem on the pole two houses down. I would not have the balls to be up in a bucket truck in that wind! Lowest electric rates in the state also!
