    It is Aleppo, Syria (note the text at top of photos). Like Cubans, Syrians collected old U.S. cars...not as many as in Havana, but some old U.S. cars in both Damascus and Aleppo...when I lived there, I had great conversations with Syrians about their cars...

    Photos from Sat. 8/22 taken in Moro, Kent and Shaniko OR. Had to take a drive; haven't been down that highway in 40 years. The third photo has a C cab in the background. I was advised not to go closer due to snakes in the area.

    Another Russian AA. They look just like the Model A except their radiator shell is missing the widow's peak.

    Yes, but the blue truck has a European plate of some kind and the bed is definitely not US.
