Gorgeous ‘40 Merc convertible. The paint shows its age, but in the best way possible. Originally a Texas car, so it has zero rot aside from a thumb sized section in the very bottom of the p***enger fender. The car is equipped with a ‘59 caddy 390 w/ factory tri-power, back by a 700r4. Both of which have less than 500 miles since their rebuilds. The rear is a Currie 9" with 3.25 gears (true trac (posi)). Suspension: Posies parallel leaf rear Dropped axle Posies lowering spring up front with reverse eye All the brakes have been gone through The convertible top bows have been chopped with a new canvas installed.
