Sadly, former Junior Stock tough competitor, successful businessman, and all-around Good Guy, Sonny Bryant, has passed away. Obituary located at: <https://deaddeath.com/sonny-bryant-death-obituary-cause-of-death/> In spite of the****le of that posting, there is no cause of death identified. There are rumors that he may have contracted the virus but that has not been confirmed as yet. c

This car is one of my favorite images of early Junior Stock racing. I never saw it in person but it illustrates some of the best thinking of that era.

Does anyone recognize this '56 Ford Sunliner , which back in the day- may have ran as a Jr. Stocker ? It may not have had the same blue paint job, but note the rear wheelwells- could it have run in a Gasser class instead ? Any info or pix would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Not a Gasser because it is a convertible. Gassers were "coupes & sedans". But there are a lot of other possibilities.
Actually sir- you are Wrong ! Gasser convertibles were allowed, says so right in the rule book, and here are several examples
