Leo Lyons - Hemi Chevy Engine This was Leo's personal engine. I bought it from him in 2012. It was used in a boat that Mario Andretti drove at Lake Arrowhead in Calif. This Engine is Twin Tubro Charged. It has always been in Dry Storage. But it's time to part with it. Valve Covers are Magnesium as is the Intake Manifold. This Magnesium Intake is unique. I have never seen or heard of another intake like this for this particular Engine. Leo Lyons name is embossed on the Intake as is the Valve Covers. The Tubro Charger Upper Hat can be removed and replaced with a Carburetor or Carburetors. In my opinion this Engine could be driven on the street. These Engines are Super Rare. I personal know of 3 complete existing Engines. One is in the Speedway Motors Museum in Nebraska. A Friend of mine in Phoenix owns one that is Super Charged. He stated to me he knows of 7 others. However, I only know of three. Leo told me he made approx. 30 sets of Heads. The Heads on this Engine are Stamped with the # 31. This set of Heads maybe the last set that Leo made. Supposedly, a complete Engine that was all apart that was never ***embled sold on e-bay a few years ago for $65,000. However, I can not do***ent this. This was told to me.
