Heck yeah. Those cars are awesome. I've seen some that were done up really well. For $800, I'd buy it. :)

Looks like it'd make a sweet 'dragger. Nice front end treatment. Like those headlight trim rings. Interesting radius on the rear fenders. Might look cool without skirts.

Yeah, I'd make it a dragger as well. That would look killer.

  7. I dunno I had a '39 opera coupe 35 years ago and I guess it was cool enough ot the guy I sold it to he still has it.

  8. I'm busting my *** to get a '42 that I have to either make a 50 foot trail or move about 4 other clunkers to get to. 303 Twin-H power, lower it, and cruise -

I drove a 39 coupe with the 303 Twin H 1957-59 on LINY tracks. Ate up Fords and Chevys OHV's. Sweet handler compared to the others.

If you can believe this, the same guy has 14 (yes 14) Hudson Hornet 4-doors! I believe most of them could be purchased! But don't quote me on this, some are very buildable, some are so-so.
IF anyone is interested, i'll ask about 'em. Pretty good old man, loves to see guys fix up vintage tin. At one time he had lots of kool stuff, but he has sold a lot. He told me he had bought cars in every state but, Alaska & Hawaii. He and his wife used to load up a trailer, and take off, sometimes weeks at a time. And drag home cars! Lives in Kentucky.
