I have a friend who runs Super Gas and Super Comp there from time to time. He refers to it as "slippery rock".
Is that by Elk Mound ? P.O.C.I. convention was there if I remember right the guy that owns the track races super stock with a firebird
it's south of elk mound. i was just wonderin' if any H.A.M.B.'ers show up or if it's mostly muscle cars.
We raced there a few times while we were going to UW-Stout. It was kind of rinky dink if I remember correctly. I don't remember anything hugely positive about the track.
My girlfriends stepdad runs better there than at Brainerd. We will be out there this sat.with his '73 purple duster for the test day. he put in a new front suspention while wating for 2 new pistons that got ****ed up when the front squirter screw came loose off his domminator and droped into the intake.
I ran a big block Chevelle there. It is a 1/4 mile track, most fun on test day, go with your buddies and you can run a lot of times, separates the talkers from the doers.
