I snapped these last year at a local collectors shop/office. Cell phone pics (sorry). Included is a 392 Chrysler in it's original location. They didn't all end up in FEDs and Willys G***ers. The engine and ****** on the stand is a Caddy V16.
Great cars! What's that first roadster? It seems like it's custom and I can't make out the placard. Thanks!
1935 Lincoln K series as I recall, Most of the big cars were custom bodied back then, I don't remember the coachbuilder on this one. That was one of my favorites as well.
Wow that Mercedes ssk is a real high dollar car!! I wonder what happened to the rest of that V-16 caddy.
Looks like a Model 30 Packard from @1910 but I'm not sure. That would be my pick of the collection for a "Keeper".
Someone definitely knows how to collect fine automobiles. That Lincoln is very nice and rather sporty and I guess that threw me off. The silver Packard is quite exceptional, too. Dietrich body, perhaps? And the Mercedes and the V16 Cad take it to the top. I like to see collections of exceptional models rather than typical models you see frequently. Thanks for sharing that with us.
Thanks guys, this isn't all of them. John is a regular at most of the top concours around the country. The nice thing is he actually drives his cars quite often. They are building a Marmon speedster. I'll try and get pics when it's done.
Thanks Mr. Gordon for posting the pics. I was wondering if that was the same guy that was building the Marmon speedster. It is way too kool, I got the chance to peek at it the other day. I kan't wait to hear it run. Happy Trails, Mick
