IMG_2657.jpg My long ass Mild-Custom project that seems to be going nowhere fast! Ha!
A project that is heavily involved amongst many friends. Trying to accomplish it all through ourselves and our contacts.

@CrcooperPhotography Taillights? I love 'em. You did something different that still works, still has that look. Keep up the great work.

This one does it for me!!

The lines on the 64 are so beautiful and they kept the door handles. Shame what happened to Ford in 65, when I saw the first 65 Impala after seeing the first 65 Ford, I remember thinking Fords done... These Fords were such badasses with the 427 and 406 mills...

Uhm, I dunno about that. The 90's era Lincoln Town Car wheels on the otherwise kool '57 T-Bird aren't what I would call a 'real good job'. And the new-style curved spoke version of a Torque Thrust wheel on both those '54 Chevys seem outta place too. Is that blue/white '54 Chevy set up as a Pro-Street? Do we do Pro-Street on the HAMB?

Yes, I agree. I was being selfish, considering my personal taste. I understand completely the concept of a mild custom and what the creator of this thread had in mind when he started this thread. Here is his opening statement and request:

A Serious MILD CUSTOM Photo Thread....Preferably cars styled from the decade of 1955-1965. I know there is a lot of overlap, and this isn't about perfection or Show cars nearly as much as the cars that were "common" to that decade. Slight mods, Lowering, Nosing, Decking, Paint, Louvers, Hubcaps, etc.

I have followed this thread for years, and for years Cenurian9's request on "mild custom" posting has not been followed! I love 54 chevys, especially delrays, 54delray! And yes the blue 210 is set-up pro-street! Years ago, I had a photo I posted deleted. It was of Jerry Moreland's bad ass '40 Ford Tudor! It was declared to be "pro-street"! I have no qualms with the deletion! As the years have passed, the control over non-traditional content has seemed to ceased to exist! INMATES WON!

I don't know Ryan personally, but I feel safe in saying there will be no tuner cars. He created the HAMB with that narrow focus of traditional hot rods and customs.

I am not without guilt. I posted pics from a trip to Paso Robles. I included a late 40's Buick Sedanette, green with moulded bumpers, a center mounted batman style rocket exhaust and it had big aluminum wheels. Deleted by moderators, as it should have been.

The control over the non-traditional content is really in our hands, You and I and Everyone that visits this forum. 1st, we shouldn't post it, 2nd, we should use the "report" button at the bottom of every post if we see something that just doesn't belong on the HAMB.

I believe the moderators volunteer their service to the board. THANK YOU to them all. But there is no way they can comb through every bit of content posted on the HAMB. They need our help.

I actually did it the wrong way. I should have followed my own advise and reported the post. But I read the " real good job" comment and started typing myself. Sorry about that, and thanks for explaining yourself.

Also, thanks for quoting the opening statement of the Mild Custom thread. It never hurts to revisit that statement, or, as a matter of fact, Ryan's rules and guidelines for the forum as a whole.

I'll get us back on track by including a Mild Custom I recently shot in Dewey OK at Lead Aint Dead
