Hot rod tail lights

Has anyone converted lights from a Curtiss P-40 (ww2) into tail lights?
I would love to see how and what light bulb socket you used.

Speedway Motors sells a kit for that.
Pretty common mod.

 

Anyone have any pics? I'm not familiar with those lights.
