I really am more bummed about it than you know. I feel like I missed a once in a lifetime experience. Having wanted a 40 Ford since I was 10 years old and now having two. With you like minded guys with 40's of your own from all over the place being so close to me all at the same place. All I can hope for is that I will get mine done soon and another opportunity like this happens again. I hope I don't start laughing and fart in Church every time I think of this now. It would be worse than your description of it being I play drums in church with microphones all around me ! On top of that, my wife would laugh out loud. She's like that. All I can say is I hope all of you guys had as much fun as I know I would have and with my Mom and brother living in Springfield, I know me and the wife will get an opportunity to meet you guys one of these days. Maybe even drive a 40 up there before long. Like my brother in laws favorite song goes. Never surrender!

Proper day of car showing, rolling to the show watching the sunrise and enjoying the day with fine rides with old friends and meeting some new friends and then rolling home watching the sunset. And another 400 plus miles put down on the books. ;)

Bret pull off another outstanding one off show. Small Town Feel... Loved it. Quality of cars over the top for a small town in the middle of the midwest.

  14. And this is why I love being friends with guys with good eyes and cameras. ;-)

Thanks, Duncan and Neal! Makes me feel like I was there.

  15. Glad that comment tickled your funny bone. One of my buddies I used to work with, who passed away a little over a year ago, was a good ol' boy from Clarksville, AR. He was retired Army and about 18 years my senior, but he and I went together like greasy food and gravy. What I would give to be half the story teller he was! That was one of his sayings that I can't take credit for.

You know I want to see more of that model A sedan...

  29. That one belongs to @Primered Forever Unfortunately I never got very far from where I was handing out t-shirts, so I never got to see it up close.

  30. Hey Duncan, Thanks for adding some of the Friday night pics. The grey primered deluxe sedan running red steelies and "nuts out" goes with the interior shot with the shifter with a grenade knob and cool pinstriped dash. That's @Jermo, who drove down from the KCMO area just to hang out with us on Friday night, then had to high tail it back home for obligations that he had on Saturday.
