1928 Ford Extended Cab Truck. Built by legendary Eastern Oklahoma builder Stafford Drake from a good running all original Ford Model A 2-door sedan that he bought in 1956 for $30. The body was shortened by taking 2 feet out at the rear side windows and then mounted on a custom built frame. Ford steel body and hood, gl*** fenders and custom bed. 2.8 V6, 5 speed, rear end w/parallel leafs from a Chevy S-10. ‘48 Ford front axle w/transverse leaf, front discs, Flaming River rack & pinion, powder coated Wheelsmith smoothies with 225/70 R15s and 175/65 R15s, ‘40 Ford caps, the original flip-up Model A seats (recovered in vinyl), VDO gauges, ididit tilt column, Kenny’s banjo wheel, ’50 Pontiac taillights (gl*** blue dot), ’34 commercial headlights w/halogens and turn bulbs. Manuel choke, new wood, filled roof. Custom 30 gal gas tank w/Ford Bronco fuel pump. Ford truck “Caribbean Turquoise”. Excellent heater and defroster, 2X60 AC. It’s got a few warts here and there but it’s been my daily driver since 2016 - never let me down! Motivated seller.
