These 114X Mercury's were made ONLY by Mercury of Canada for 3 yrs '46-48. Production numbers typically were under 500 per body style and yr. Using the Ford wheelbase for a Mercury that was meant to compete directly with Ford cars. The result is a well -portioned good-looking short Mercury. This coupe is still flathead powered and 6volt-could show in the V8 Club Touring Class. Recent paint, restored trim, chrome, body rubber/seals, brakes, gas tank, Fryer pumps, recored radiator.
