Never shipped a car before. Buying a car in Connecticut. Need it shipped to Nevada. Anyone know a good guy? Shipping a car makes me uneasy.
Did you price out renting a pickup and trailer? If you do find someone, make sure he is not a broker, you have to make the arrangements with the actual guy / gal that is hauling your car. Scammers are all over the place.
1500 for truck and trailer not including gas. Or other fees. And 5-6 days of driving Realistically would like to ship

From Ct. to Nevada is an easy two and one half day tow. I did Ct. to WV in a little over 9 hours, another day to St. Louis, final day Nevada. Not a killer drive but very doable. Check the HAMB o Dex here below the classifieds as there are plenty of Alliance Member haulers that are not scammers.
Oh awesome didn’t know that was there! Thanks a bunch! Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
^^^^^Come around more often. Look around and you will find a wealth of information on whatever you want. Are you aware of the Social Groups here? Every car make and type covered with a specific area.
So if it goes by truck is a shipment, but if it goes on a ship, it's cargo? and why do we park on driveways, and drive on parkways??
Wow was gonna vote for Bill. Good on him being booked. Sounds like you may have to try some of Theo their guys on the Hamb. Or just go with that big ass Orange transporter and wait and see. Also note that most people as to know if the deal is done. If it’s not done don’t bother booking yet.
You do realize that your post (which was your first) answered a question that the last post above yours was on October 13, 2020.

There are actually a hell a lot of great car shipping companies on the market. However you have to watch out for stupid scammers. I used to work for a car shipping company actually. That company was really great, and the quality of their services was really great. However, I do not really think that they are still working, as the owner has passed away. Probably the only car shipping company that I would recommend anyone, besides the one that I have worked for, has to be guardianautotransport.com. They are having some really great drivers, and the prices are good.
I apologize for the delayed response, but in case others face the same situation, I'd like to share my experience with car shipping. I had to transport my car to another state a while ago, and I must admit, I felt a bit uneasy about the process. However, it turned out to be smoother than expected. During my research, I came across a helpful website at a1autotransport.com. They provided valuable information about car shipping and connected me with reliable professionals to handle the task. Shipping a car can be a daunting task, but with the right assistance, it becomes a manageable journey.
It may cost the same or a bit more, but if you are able bodied and in for a road trip, then the peace of mind you will have will be worth doing it yourself. If not then don't go with the cheapest guy- you get what you pay for.
