Someone I know found this camping box at a swap and is trying to get info. It says coffee on one of the bins inside, the top box is for ice, right side is water with spigot near bottom and the small bin catches the melting ice water!

It appears to be the traditional Coleman green, but that just may be a coincidence, if you can post some more pictures from all angles and of the diamond shaped badge it would be helpful. Its a very cool unit, good score!

Made by Tourist Supply Co. "Incorporated in Delaware with operations in Los Angeles CA, the company was known for making a tourist kitchenette for the model A. The equipment attached to the luggage rack (or running board) and was a compact kitchen for camping. Just like a chuck box, the kitchenette had the table which folds down and storage bins for flour, sugar and those things from the kitchen for camping. It also had a built in ice chest. One of the specific objects of the invention is to provide an improved running board 1 cabinet having a drinking water compartment therein together with improved means for refrigerating the drinking water."

  7. That would look right at home tucked into the back of a teardrop camper.

  8. I have something like that , that was built by my great uncle. it was always ready and stocked with table wear, pots, spices, base ingredients . he was known to get out of work on Friday and decide to travel in his microbus, he would fill a cooler, pack some clothes and grab the box and go...
