NY Nostalgia Weekender, South Butler

    Joe is gone (God rest his soul) But it looks like the show is going on Aug 4-6.
    I'd rather make passes down the blacktop strip next door, but WTF, a party is a party.
    So who plans on going?
    Who plans on camping there?

    John and me are planning on going, but we've planned on it the last two years, and not made it yet. We're just outside of Hamilton. Hope to have my car going for it. Do you go to Sylvan Beach on Thurs. nights ?Mike

    4th Annual Nostalgia Weekender (The first was at the old Kings dragstrip in South Butler, this is around the corner)
    August 4-6.
    Camping
    Live bands
    Swap meet & Vendors
    Pinup & tattoo compititions
    Burnout & Flamethrower contests
    Pinstripers
    Rat Rod reunion
    Drag racing (Dirt drag strip)

    This sounds like a good one but it's always the same weekend as an all Pontiac drag meet in Ohio that I attend. I may have to bag the Ohio trip this year and check this one out. Sounds like a true nostalgic event!

    They had issues with the owners of that track at the first weekender.
    They wanted their pals with new Mustangs, 4x4 pickups and crotch rockets to be able to run.
