Ghetto Garage Tuning. I even had magnetic signs made up for the garage fridge. My sister also bought me a sign that reads "Busted Knuckle Garage."

Reading thru some old posts last nite after getting tired of reading the saga about krylon whites, thought I'd post a pic of a sign I painted years ago that still hangs in my shop to this day, although the shops real name is Affordable Customs, we get a kick outa this...

my old shop was known as The Rat Cave...I haven't yet named the new shop yet, I have a name for the business I run out of the shop, just not a name for the shop itself...my buddy's old shop was known as the Rice Capades, since it was known for having all kinds of imports shuffling through there on a daily basis...

Personally, I like the drag racing poster next to your sign. Anyday you can view a picture of Clem Johnson's "The Barn Job" Vincent drag bike, is a good day.

    Your sign is good too!

No official names and/or signs in my garage. Junk pile or junk yard would fit or maybe "Not Big Enough" (it's a 3-car garage). It could be "Grumpy's Gas and Grease" to go with the hat I bought at Disneyland. Another choice, "Home of the Low Grade Speed Freaks" for all of the caffeine that's consumed there. Maybe "Philbert's Phine Phords". My wife's favorite: "When are you going to clean out That Mess?" Or better yet, Fire Trap.

I'm in trouble now, I've got the brain in gear thinking of names and I can't stop myself. Does this mean I'm Obsessive-Compulsive?
    How about these:
    Work Avoidance Center
    Goodwill's Auxilary Warehouse
    Assembly of Dust Collectors
    City Dump
    Tool Collection Warehouse
    Place of Perpetually Unfinished Projects
Honest, I'm NOT running a business out of my garage! (to the zoning inspector and irate neighbors)
Bangin' and Bustin' Palace (not THAT kind of bangin')
Anaheim, Azuza, and Cucamonga Sewing Supplies, Bookstore and Speed Shop (Thanks to Jan and Dean. If you don't know who they are you're too young to care.)

Since I am in Texas the shop is currently called " Too Fuckin Hot " or " Tha Oven " Considering it is an old warehouse that was ammunitions / bomb facility.

I was thinking of calling it the LA BOR A TORY (heavy transilvanian accent), but I just get funny stares when I do that. It's probably more of a "no man's land of terminally misplaced utility devices of destruction and creativity" kinda place. But that takes a lot of breath to get out, so I guess I'll just stick with the Garage. Or maybe 'El Shoppo'? Nah...

Mine's called 'the driveway' :( No shop yet. No wonder it takes 10+ years to build anything.
