So the tweaker that had this car before had a rats nest of wires going every where. Rigged lights everything. I'm gonna run all new wiring and want to keep the original gages and switches. I've been look underneath it and want to take the dash out soI can't get it painted and the chrome redone. Anyone know how to take it out?

  2. IIRC, there's screws under the windshield moulding trim (these can be a bit of a PITA), a bracket at each 'A' door pillar, and two bolts at the steering column/pedal support. You'll want to pull the steering wheel also.

Thank you. Those are the ones I saw. I was just trying to make sure I wasnt missing something. The steering wheel is shot. Went to take it off and it literally had 3 broken drill bits stuck in it to keep it on. Never seen anything like it.

  5. Tweakers suck.

I would think after seeing that I would go from bumper to bumper before driving it again

  6. Don't forget to disconnect the Spedo Cable at the head, also all vent and heat cables. I did that at the firewall ends, not at the dash controller. If you want to do a Totally Factory replacement plug and play without any Butt connectors and correct I can give you a name and address. Not your cheep fits all kind of program. Well worth the extra cost if your car is a nice one.
