Recently I was looking for some cheap early (365) Cadillac heads for something I want to try. Gary had some and they weighed 51 lbs. Checking FedX, I found that a 51 lb item cost twice as much to ship as a 50 lb item. Add in the packaging and it meant that it wasn't feasible. I only needed the heads and not the attending valves and springs. Gary graciously dis***embled the heads so I could get a reasonable shipping price.......and I'm fairly sure he made mutiple trips to get the weight checked. Top that off with the fact that he gave me an excellent price for the heads. These are the kinds of things that make people on the Hamb great people, a willingness to help one another when needed. Recently Squirrel had an opportunity to see first hand that many Hambers will go out of their way to help one another just because of a love for the old car hobby and those who participate in it. Yes, we piss each other off now and then, but when help is needed there are a lot of good people on this site. So MY THANKS and appreciation to all those people out there who step up and help others when they can.
