Technical Does any one out there recognize this part ?

I received this part as part of a package deal for a 1951 F truck that I got . It looks much smaller than the truck size. Could it be for a car instead ?? Tom

I think he knows what it is, he is looking for its application. Kinda looks like a tri five Chevy to me, but I sold mine so I can't compare/
