I'm about 35-40 minutes to the north of you. Us Hambers from the area should do a yard crawl or garage crawl sometime. Or at least get together sometime to help each other out/ get to know one another. later shawn

Hey,Mahlin. I'm from Lewisburg, but I work in Selinsgrove (animal hospital across from the racetrack) I've got a '31 A coupe and my buddy's got a '31 Chevy. You'll want to take in the cars at Sunbury's Riverfest and make the cruise-in at the Milton McDonald's on the 3rd Saturday of the month 6-9PM.

If you can wait, head down to Carlisle at the end of September and Hershey in early October. Get the Shopper-there have been some good cars in there-there were at least a '53 Chevy truck, a '65 Buick Special and a '41 Ford this week. Get the Lancaster Farmer, too. Lots of ads and often old car stuff. And check out out the Pennsylvania Car Connection Magazine (www.pennautoconnection.com) and pick up their magazine.

For those of you not privileged to know Selisngrove,it's a beautiful small town right on the Susquehanna River. It's about an hour north of Harrsiburg in the center of the state and home to Susquehanna University, a neat dirt race track they're trying to close and one hell of a good veterinary hospital.

Lock Haven checking in here. Anybody know of any cool clubs here in Central PA ? Only one in this town is the old retired guys that get together once a month and talk about how much they are paying somebody else to do some work on their car.

actually i live right near the racetrack...well at least till wednesday then its back to mcalisterville actually i've taken my cats there and probably have seen you there haha. my rent here is pretty pricey *550 a month* and i just cant swing it anymore with nothing included. so time to move home but i need something to occupy my free time and bordem i know i will have. i found one that i defnitely want to check out once i find out more about it but it sounds like it will be solid. i'm pretty stoked.
as far as get togethers around here, i'm sure people do but i never looked into it as of yet. but i would definetly be into that. just seeing someone else doing it or talking to the few people i have talked to make it want to do it even more. just have to keep my eyes peeled..ask more questions and learn. just going to try my best and see what happens.

thanks for everyone's help. its much appreicated.

ps i've checked in the auto connection and all the local shopper papers before and have seen some stuff that goes for decent prices. most of the stuff i've seen has been farther away than i would can drive during the week cause i work 10 hr days. but i do want to check out carlisle and hershey swap meets.
there's so many places to look and people to talk to now that i've asked/looked haha.
its hard to keep it all in my head
so i'm just writing down all the info i can and saving topics on here...good stuff though
and its keeps me busy while i sit and relax in between moving boxes and other misc crap haha

    moving sucks.

Hey Adam! I just came across a '53 more door v8 Buick around the block from me if you're interested in that. Super solid, the interior even looks good! It's registered, so it might even be a driver. 1st year nailhead I think! PM me and I'll go check it out a little better if ya want.

  15. I am from southern california and plan on goin to pa for vacation with parents for a week to visit my grandparents and uncles. We are gonna look at houses out there. Might end up buying something out there and leaveing cali for it is ridiculously expenise. But yea I dont know if you heard of Mcdonald,Pa..dont know much about it but thats probably where we would move too.

so i'm not sure where it would be in reference to where i'm at.
but thats rad! most of the places around here are quiet and laid back
    for the most part.
some places are more expensive than others but it depends where you live.
