Just trying out a new experimental feature offered as an add-on to the Firefox browser. It gives you a way to take a quick screen capture of a whole page or a smaller selected area of your choice. Firefox will store the screen capture on their servers and generate a link to it which you can copy and paste online. Click the link and the screen cap opens in a new tab. The only catch is that for now at least, the link and corresponding screen capture will expire after 14 days. Trying to figure out how to use the search feature? https://pageshot.net/w01nye3NiwdifgTv/www.jalopyjournal.com Trying to figure out how to set Alert Preferences? https://pageshot.net/cz**DyK8MeseZc33/www.jalopyjournal.com This still might be handy for posting quick info without having to do a regular Windows screen capture, saving it to your computer, maybe cropping it and saving it and then having to upload the image somewhere. But if you want to use the screen cap more permanently you can save the actual image to your own machine, edit, and upload it as usual. Now I'll have to check back and see if these links actually go away after 14 days.
Your always up on the new cutting edge information when it comes to this site and I use firefox but I am totally lost. HRP
Addons are great actually for when you need to share a video or image with someone then I believe free screen recorder CloudApp is a great option to go for. This free software has really great options.
I you have Windows 10, there is a feature that is called Screen Snip which is about the same as the Firefox add on. Works well for me. Just basically copies the page or part of the page and save as an image.
