It was so hot that...

  1. "How hot was it?"

... I saw a lawyer chasing an ambulance and he was walking.

It's been 110* at my place for the past three days but has finally dropped to 107* as I write this.
It's been 116* in some other localities such as Concord and Livermore.

Bank sign says its been 118 here the last few days. Sad part is around here, its not going to cool down much if any for a few months (maybe by october). Its not uncommon for it to hit 120 in August.

I sold my 55 VW yesterday it was 110 degrees outside. Had to load all the parts inside the car that were sitting in my hot ass garage. The car doesnt run and didnt have a steering wheel hooked up. So we had to wrestle the wheels to steer it. Then push it up the damn trailer. I was the lucky one who got to hold the extremely hot car from behind while he secured it to the trailer all the while my hands were sizzling while it tried to roll back off the trailer. I was about ready to pass out before we were thru...

Mike I lived in Casa Grande for a little while. It got up to 123 degrees that summer....we moved back to Cali and never went back to AZ

Ya I grew up in San Diego, so I haven't had to put up with much bad weather. Hopefully I'll make it out too, before my brain cooks.

The worst part is that it doesn't really cool off much at night. Maybe high 90's.

No joke, I lost almost 5lbs sweating my ass off while installing my windshield and back glass yesterday. Was going to try putting all the stainless around the doors and had to put it off.

    But it's a dry heat!

  10. 110 in the shade. No telling what it is in the direct energy rays.

  11. It never gets hot here. But we do get some record cold---last winter I got up one morning and looked out in the backyard---seen a red squirrel towing a rabbit to get it started.

  12. Rad...I have to be down there for the next two days. I actually heard it's a dry heat (like that helps) as opposed to 30% humidity and 113 degrees here. Drove the Chevy today anyway.
