And ANOTHER new toy.... 37 Ford Cab!

Scored on Ebay this afternoon for $256.00. I couldn't be happier.

Hey are those sedan doors???

 

What's with the doors... they look like rear sedan doors,are they 37's ? I need new doors for my cab and if car fordors fit it might be easier to find!

I looked briefly at carnut.com and can't find a sedan door that matches...

 

I'd guess the cab was used on a tractor, and the doors were notched to clear the tires. It would also explain the lack of floor.

 

Correct. It was actually thrown onto a weird sized/shaped frame and was notched to clear the frame I think.

Those are gonna need to be re-tacked and welded.

I'm playing with options on this one.

We're going to pick it up on Saturday and I'll likely start marking it up then. Gonna markup for a chop, 6" from the front and 4.5" from the back. From then on it's just ideas.

I do know I'll likely put my 59' 389 in this one.

I'm thinking I'll fab a frame for it too so I can Z it as severely as I'd like (scraping the ground hahaha).

Also, the doors open the wrong way to fit my tastes.

Any recommendations would be welcome. I love hearing other peoples opinions
