Michigan convoy to the Hunnert?

I am considering driving my 39 mod to the hunnert, who from michigan is going/driving? I am right of 96 at fowlerville.....oh yeah, I have an open seat if someone cant drive but wants to go! I would drive alone or with paintfumes but I think it would be cool to have a group of cars runnin down the road.

 

We'll be heading down from the West and North side on Friday AM.

 

COOL! I think marc might drive hiscar too but I guess it depends on the weather for us both, I dont wanna sound like a whiner but the hole open wheel and partially open floor doesnt do it for me in the rain

im in the same boat. id love to go , but just me possibly my girl and my cars first long hual make me feel a little iffy.it would be cool to go with a convoy. im near 94 and 696 myself

There is about 4 of us going from s.e. Michigan (Troy). I think we are actually going to trailer :O Buckle's Savoy, I know I know not ********, but he's only put about 5 miles on her and with the flathead 6 we'd have to leave on Wednesday

Roadstar and I will be leaving the Livonia area on that Friday morning and taking US12 (Michigan Ave) across the state. We'll be doing alittle antiquing along the way. If anyone wants to join us they are more then welcome.

For the way home we should plan a fun route like back country roads. I have an idea for a couple of stops, one in Jackson and one just south of Ann Arbor.......weather permitting of course for the whiners.

 

Count me in, no fenders, no windows, no hood... I do have floorboards and a windshield though... wimpy I know!!

 

If one of you wants to cover my fuel bill, I'll go!

 

Who needs windows or heaters? Hey Denise I'll probably follow you and Rudy since I live 10 minutes from US 12 and 23. A buddy from Des Moine is gonna meet me there .

 

the one show i would not miss if i was in a coma!!! i'm being going in something, somehow, with somebody. we should definatley hook up. convoys are way more fun that going it alone. i went to the very first Pile Up completely solo. my wife (now EX) would not go because i had no windows, no wipers, no heat and had never driven the car very far. i went anyway and i made a ton of new friends and had a BLAST!!! the car handled it wonderfuly.

 

if anyone p***ing thru K-zoo (I-94) with an empty seat doesnt mind a little extra baggage... I might like to hitch a ride over that way for the day...
