Looking for glass.... I have a good idea of what other things it needs but and costs but I have no idea about glass. It needs 4 windows and front/rear glass.

if someone could give me a ballpark that would be great

After I had my car chopped, I made 1/4" plexiglass templates from cheap scrap plexi (so I could install them to check for fit), and took them to a local glass shop, and they cut them from laminated glass. It ran about $30 a pannel, including each windshield half. For the rear glass, you'll have to go to a vintage glass dealer or find one from a junk car, hopefully they layed back the rear window frame so you can use a stock rear glass.

you can give my friend a call he has a glass shop. he dont really like to do installs on chopped cars, cuz stuff is usually not done right .. but he can give you a price on the glass and a new rear window, he might even have an old one laying around. if you make the templates make sure the stuff is 1/4" thick and mock it up to make sure it all fits. his # is 951 789 8870 his name is carson.

Great idea, plexi is a real bitch to cut. I still have to do my door glass, Im gonna definately use masonite for that. Thanks.

  7. Masonite is definitely harder to look through; don't try driving to the glass shop.:)
