Unseasonably warm dry weather in western South Dakota this week. My back has been giving me fits and the weather is beautiful so why not take the 32 to the chiropractor. It’s not to often you get to drive your hotrod in December in the great white north! A6457B10-56C3-412B-96EA-EBCCA9933D7D.jpeg

:D The chiropractor fixes you up and the 32 undoes the work. Sounds worth it to me!

I had mine out too. If there's salt but its dry your good. Its when its wet that it gets inside all those little cracks..

I had the pickup out today thinking it might be the last time until spring. Went kind of early because they were forecasting rain. Caught a couple drops a few towns over but sure glad I went.

I had my pickup out just the other day, but since I'm in So Cal I suppose that doesn't count.... ;)

  14. Had planned on driving in a local Christmas parade tomorrow, but we had our first snow yesterday (4 inches) and they put enough salt and brine on the roads to last the rest of the season! Looks like they will stay warm and dry in The Hot Rod Grille garage until Spring!

We have had a bit of snow but it’s been really dry here in the Black Hills. We need snow and or rain something desperate, I’m afraid next summer will be nothing but wild fires if Mother Nature doesn’t help.

    Love South Dakota.

Wife and I took a 150-mile cruise through southern Washington in the ‘31 A Coupe last week. Goofed up on the departure time and drove through a lot of 35-degree weather and darkness on the hour trip home. Gotta fix those air leaks!

    Drive ‘em when you can!

My wife and I took a short trip to the next town, about 30 miles away. About 10 miles from home, I thought I should have taken the coupe, and told my wife so. She told me I sure picked a poor time to think about that, I should have thought about it before we left home.
It sounds like we might get another shot at a ride Monday or Tuesday, but they have a lot of time to change their mind about that, especially this time of the year around here. Gene

AVater, it's good to see you're an animal lover and had a nice warm sweater on your little doggie. Bless your heart.

Drove an off topic Mustang with no top to my storage bay a couple miles away yesterday. Brought back a fenderless Model A coupster . Both were customers cars. Had a light jacket on. Not bad at all. Worked on a project outside in the afternoon with no coat on. Iowa.

Took my Shoebox out for awhile yesterday, it was too nice of a day to work around the house. Work is about to begin again, the powder coating place called and my frame will be ready Monday or Tuesday- i'm gonna cruise as much as I can between now and then

  26. We are blessed a lot of the time with great weather in all months. Of course you know this. We do need some moisture. Dry as a popcorn fart down here in the Southern Hills. A good friend of mine is on ski patrol at Terry and was showing us pics at the brewery last night. They are DRIVING up the runs on dirt at the blue chair to do maintenance work. We won't be skiing until Jan. But I think this is one of those years we will get hammered in March and April.

  27. Tman, thanks for posting about Terry Peak. As a former skier(well I guess I could start again), I like checking out other areas. We drove our roadster through your area 30 years ago, checking out all the sites.

  28. I was off skis for 29 years and hadn't boarded in 18 when I got back on the4 slopes.

  30. Been raining here the past few days. I had some storm damage to the house and my OT car when a tree limb came down. I hope to have the Ford out tomorrow. The heater works well, need to install the last door gasket soon.
