Wondering if anyone is running a 650-18 tire on a 18 x 5.50" wide wheel? If so, how does it look?

What tire? I have Dunlop 700’s racing on 6”wide but would like to have had 5-1/2”...they are 32” diameter.

I'm looking at the 650-18 bias ply Firestone Whitewall tire.

This is a 7.00x18 on a 4-1/2" wheel. In the "olden days", tires had a 100% height to width ratio – thus 7.00x2 = 14 + 18 equals 32" high. And that's what this one is – 32" high. It's on a 4-1/2" wheel because that's what were given me. Because of the too narrow rim, the tire tends to "crown" which leads to uneven wear.

A 6.50 tire on a 5-1/2" rim would seem to me to be a useable combo. Should be about 31" high.
