what does this mean?? (You have insufficient privileges to post here.)

I went to the Social Forums page, clicked on Geographical, then selected a state to make a post in....and this message shows up: (You have insufficient privileges to post here.) and I cant put up a post. So....how does one GET those priviledges so I can post a request that has to do with lodging at hot rodders places on a cross country trip I'm planning in mid July? CC your reply to my conversation page too. Thanks.

There is more to it,I have recruited new members to the H.A.M.B. they do the new member intro and when they try to click on our link https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/social-forums/1952-59-ford-social-group.282/ To try to join our Social Group and they get that same message,I'm at a loss to help them out. I asked one member to open a conversation with Ryan over a week ago to get help and just got a message that Ryan had not answered him back yet. (55newbie) This happens on a regular basis,if there is a shortcut or solution I would love to know what it is.

 

I’m trying to respond to a classified add and it won’t allow me to start a conversation, at the bottom it stated “ you have insufficient privileges to reply here”

This may surpass the “ I can’t post a classified ad with the App” complaints.

 

I’ve been on here since 2010 and have bought many things on the classifieds over the years, what has changed?

I thought using the classifieds to buy and sell was contributing. What type of contributing am I missing out on?

Yes, I too am having the same problem. I'm not on here to scam anyone but was introduced by some other HAMB members and have corresponded recently in the last month with about 4 or 5 Members already about vehicles I'm interested in but all of a sudden I can no longer 'Start a Conversation' with anyone. So will this count as 'one' submission/post? If so I guess I'll post another nine to get me to my 10th. :/
