My best car guy buddy is finishing up a cherry 54 Red (gray rear insert) white top. He parked it on a 96 Vette chassis. I'll get some pic's.

 

Here's mine, a 210 model. Its "parked" on a '54 Chevy chassis. ^^^?^^^

The stock grille bar w/o teeth could be a nice smooth look... especially with the holes filled, smoothed and chromed. Very subtle, but yet slick.

I love 49 thru 54 gms, mine happens to be a 54, I did not build her, but I would have built her just like she is a mild custom with less is more, here are 2 ways I show her, Tom

 

There are a lot of very nice cars on this thread. If I was able to ever able own one though the chrome would have to go and the parts painted, possible in a contrasting colour. I am sure a lot of you guys like the chrome, then like I say everyone to their own. It would be a sad world if we all liked the same.

I believe that car is Matt Nobles. It was white when he bought it and since he’s a painter he just fired up his paint gun and went full on Larry Watson on the thing.

I think the 53-54 Chevy is one of the few cars that, when chopped, a sedan looks as good if not better than a hardtop. I've never been a fan of the "reverse" angle on the C pillar of the hardtops, which to me breaks up the nice flow of the roof. Still gorgeous though. Just a great looking body style.
