History Who has Skirts on their 40 Ford?

    We typically see 40 Fords in more of a traditional hotrod form Who has a lowered 40 Ford with skirts etc? Not looking for chopped Full Kustoms.

    I always liked the 40-41 with skirts and Full Moon Discs..

    Google Don Richardson’s 39 For coupe, the former Doug Rice coupe. There are numerous articles and photos available with and without skirts. Long history.

    I have had a bunch of 1940 Fords and it is one of the only cars you can put fender skirts on and do nothing else and it automatically turns the car into a custom. HRP

    The Doug Rice coupe is the first car I'd buy if I won the Powerball. You say it's not for sale? If I won the lottery, it would be. Loved that car since I was a little bitty kid.

    No skirts bro, only Mercs and shoebox fords are skirted, some chevys too!!
