    hey guys,

just noticed at the end of july americruise east and west are ending together in lincoln nebraska. just thought id throw up a post and see if any hambers would be with either of those groups. i live right between the host hotel/down town and the fair grounds so if i could walk a block to meet a hamber i normaly would have to drive across the country to meet thatd be preety cool.

Hey Tim, I'll be there with my T-Bucket and will have several buddies there. You should stop by and say hi. I'm in Omaha so I won't be coming in with the tours. If you are joining in Americruise there are going to be free tours of Speedway Motors. That place has some great historical stuff!

The cost is only $20 for the car, driver and passenger. That includes the tours and the show and a tour of the Speedway Museum.

I will be there. I am part of Savoy_mans group. We have a car club called the Bastards that are bringing 5 or 6 cars down. I have a 55 Ford that is running up against the wire to get it there, but damn it. I am going to make it! Hope to see you all there!

Anyone else getting excited for this event? My car club is busting its collective Azz to get my 55 Ford done. We have all the replacement sheet metal in place, just gotta finish bondo work and prime it. Should be finishing that up on Wednesday or Thursday for a Friday departure! WHOOO HOO!!

It sure makes things easier when you have a good club working with you to get things done.

I think our list of cars going is: my 55 ford, a 62 impala, a 57 plymouth savoy hard top, 62 ford bronco, and possibly a 23 tbucket. We are leaving a 58 Savoy behind and a Ford unibody pickup behind.

Look for a primer black 55 Ford with radiused wheel wells and a Bastards Pinstriping motif on it.

    See ya at the show!

    Gang -

Look for my booth on "vendors row". I'll be selling gold chain necklaces and bracelets, crate motors, billet parts of all kinds, Von Dutch clothing, stainless steel mufflers, 36-40inch "Blingo" wheels, and surgical gloves.

Be sure to enter my free drawings for lifetime subscriptions to PrimeMedia magazines.

Sorry, no HAMB Alliance discounts during the event.

All this - and its only $13 to get in the gate.

Oh yeah - Keep your damn hands in your pockets!. Touching ANYTHING is grounds for immediate expulsion.

    Have fun!

i just realized ill be at the tattoo studio most of the day when everybody is in town. if you want to stop by for an informal hamb meet feel more then welcome we have got TONS of FREE parking. ill have my stuff there so if your looking for some low buck striping, some great airbrush work, a tattoo or even just a cool drink of water. feel free to stop in anytime.

i should be there between 1:30 and 5:30. the easyest way to give directions is that its on the corner of 13th st and arappahoe.

if your down town or at the host hotel you just head south on 13th past south street, its in the "indian village" shopping strip. its right on the corner you cant miss it.

Americruise was a BLAST! O st was too damn full of cops to have too much fun. But overall the weekend was a good one!! Only 1 minor problem with the car. Had a loose connection at the ballast resistor that caused me about a 15 minute find and fix. But all went well aside from that.
