Saw this on c/l SF Bay Area. Not interested but thought I would share it. Proportions aren’t to bad. 7DEA7AB5-39A5-4EBA-B17E-75A0F75EEF32.jpeg 98E8D652-676C-494C-BAF6-935F2E6A7823.jpeg 6B971895-3C84-494E-8809-8B6BC9895ABF.jpeg

Works OK, not way out of proportion. Is that an Austin pickup in the background? Fairly rare in these parts. Utilibird?

  6. Three things would 'fix' it IMO... One, shorten the roof the width of the quarter windows, eliminating them; keep the same shape opening. Two, lower the bed rail to the same level as the base of the C pillar. And three, raise the quarterpanel fins so they run straight back, not curve down like they do.

    And I wouldn't pay $5800 for it....

I've seen several square birds done that way but that's the first bullet bird I've seen. Doesn't look bad and the workmanship looks ok.

It's been on the local CL for quite a long time. To pricey. Interesting though. And yeah, that looks like an Austin pickup in the background.

I need a pickup/utility vehicle, but given I've got 2 '63 Birds and plenty of parts for a few more, that one's too much of a project for me. Heck, I sold my OT '87 El Camino a few years ago for less than what that guy wants.
