Something like this for the windshield? Or something similar but slightly taller? I'm guessing you mean a single windshield, to go with the tonneau? Makes sense...no need to have anything on the passenger side of the cowl.
I'm kinda thinking it's a shade of green, looks good. I'm looking forward to lining up with you at the drags, I just hope my motor stays together.....
I like pink as much as the next guy, but I don't think it looks right on that machine. The bunny goes well with pink though.
That is the nicest shade of Pink with maroon letters I have ever seen. The Purple on the wheels really sets it off. Thanks for sharing. BTW, youll get pulled over here for no windshield, blue dots in the tail-lights too. Neat little car, looks fun!
Thanks. I had been thinking about it for a long time. A couple of years really. Didn't talk to anyone about it though. And really didn't put pen to paper until a week or two ago.
Last time I saw it you were usin' Liscense plates as a windscreen ...did you move em down to their appropriate places???? Damned Missouri and their 2 plate law!
License plate sized piece of clear lexan stuff, nickle plated toilet seat hinge, add in a positive stop so it can't rotate back if something hits it but can still fold flat to cowl... That, or a traditional MIME windshield...that is just a windshield frame with a wiper motor swinging a wiper arn back and forth on nothing...
Another informal windshield idea: Install two of the little cast sockets that take the sidecurtain rods on '33-4 roadster doors in front of each seat on the cowl (these are readily available from the repro places in there aren't enough '33 roadsters in your local scrapyard). Make a little lexan WS for each position with a steel rod at each end or a 3 sided frame that wraps around the tops and ends in two rods going down; rods just slide into the little socket bumps like the curtain rods would have. Make a brcket inside each "door" or on each side of trans to keep the windshields handy, so you can easily pop them into place blind right after ingesting an entire quail at 100MPH... Thes sockets have a visible portion that is just a little raised rim around the hole.
hahaha... Great way to keep everyone guessing... Thanks for the info, I just bought a set of 35 Ford wires and am looking to buy some rubber... Dave Brisco
I'm guessing a nice Coral body, tourquoise numbers outlined in fuschia. I like the look no matter what the color is.
After riding in the Modified with him-Id rather think Kevin painted it -ALL OVER-with that stuff that renders your liscence plates invisible to a traffic camera.
Wow! I haven't seen a pastel peach colored hot rod in 10 years! They're coming back! Yall just watch! Kevin's ahead of the curve!
