Looking at everybody's posts I'm thinking winter is going to skip Michigan this year Sent from my moto z4 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
In Michigan I think winter starts tomorrow, supposed to drop to 20 degrees. There's surprisingly a few inches of ice on my bay, though the rest of the lake is still open water, but enough for me and the kid to go play around right next to shore yesterday a few hours. Fun times. When I was a kid we were all tournament water skiers, hard core dedication. If the lake was open Christmas morning my dad used to dress up in a Santa suit and ski around the lake. I've got a picture of it somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it up...
50 yesterday when I got out of work and snowing at 4:30 this morning on my way in to work. Got to love Michigan weather Sent from my moto z4 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Beautiful, they all look great. I really like this one for a card but all would work. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
The man tree. Been collecting Hallmark dates hot rods for 30 years. One for every year we have been married.
Same here. I have a ton of their hot rods, Muscle Cars and Harleys. As a MoPar guy really happy with the Superbird this year.
My wife decorated a tree in my dudes room last night. It's the gift that keeps on giving the whole year Merry Christmas ya filthy animals...and a happy new year!
I guess it's time to break out those Firestone Presents Christmas records you could buy from the local Firestone Tire store back in the day for about a buck and a quarter.
Hello, Well, we aren’t little kids anymore, but since our teenage days leading into our lives as 20 somethings, that scenario was a daily occurrence in So Cal. Or so it seemed. Nice weather is one of the primary things we have always liked about So Cal. Sure, it gets its share of the leading edge of the huge storms that whack the coastline. But, they usually blow over and then build up steam heading East over the Rockies, blasting everything in sight. If that original Westcoast storm meets a blast from Canada, then the whole Midwest and Eastcoast is in for some deep sh…snow. But, while the weather has its share of our lives, two weeks off has always sounded good, the 70 degree weather is usually the norm, causing a t-shirt/shorts attire and those allow both of old folks to work together to keep our house a **** and span as possible. Our neighbors usually see us out in the front yard maintaining our low water, succulent planted garden and yard. That is always good for some friendly conversation. But, we both look at each other and give thanks that we are still able to do the work and are in fairly good health. Helper? We have been helping each other since 1966 and it has its rewards in ideas, household items and family. Jnaki Now, the addition of “World Peace” that we have had since those hectic late 60s college days has always been a part of our thoughts and hopes. It is this pandemic that is throwing people for a loop. We are trying our best to stay healthy. But, some, without having ideas of helping others with individual health concerns, keeps bringing some other problems for all of us and won’t lead to an end of the pandemic. YRMV
