For you guys in the okc area, jimmy jorski died this morning, man I am gonna miss him. He had so much knowledge of the hot rod lifestyle and history that will never be learned by most of us. his expertise in building early vetts and salt flat race cars will never again be duplicated... rest in gods hands old friend..

  6. Wow, I'm suprised by this news. Jim was one of those guys you just knew was gonna live forever. I loved to go in his shop on Council and look at the pic on the walls. Lots of history there.

I had the pleasure to meet Jimmy a couple of times. Anytime we lose knowledge like his, we all lose.

I'm sorry to hear of his p***ing.

    Sam,
Went to Jim's wake celebration this evening, and it was just about a who's who of hot rodders in OKC. He was such a great guy, and a man who lived life to the fullest. Everytime I fire up the old Poncho, I'll think of him, since he's the guy I bought it from.

Yea it is ironic in that I am going to bonneville this year for the first time and would have enjoyed hanging with jimmy while there and had planned on just that .. It is a great loss .........but he wont soon be forgotten
