For you guys in the okc area, jimmy jorski died this morning, man I am gonna miss him. He had so much knowledge of the hot rod lifestyle and history that will never be learned by most of us. his expertise in building early vetts and salt flat race cars will never again be duplicated... rest in gods hands old friend..
...I'm sorry for your loss Sam...I didn't know him personally, but any friend of yours is a friend of mine...condolences.

Wow, I'm suprised by this news. Jim was one of those guys you just knew was gonna live forever. I loved to go in his shop on Council and look at the pic on the walls. Lots of history there.
Hi Sam, I still have a lot of work to do,frame is 7 lbs of tig filler rod heaver i was hopeing to have it driveable for the hunters pileup.but next year i don't want to rush thru and not try to do it right the first time.I will try to post some photos need to make them smaller. Bob

Sam, Went to Jim's wake celebration this evening, and it was just about a who's who of hot rodders in OKC. He was such a great guy, and a man who lived life to the fullest. Everytime I fire up the old Poncho, I'll think of him, since he's the guy I bought it from. Don
Yea it is ironic in that I am going to bonneville this year for the first time and would have enjoyed hanging with jimmy while there and had planned on just that .. It is a great loss .........but he wont soon be forgotten
