My good friend and racing buddy p***ed away recently, his wife let me borrow a photo album to share pictures he took during one of our early trips to the drags in 1972 Album has a bunch of O.T. cars too, but I won't put them here. Norb
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, like going back to my stomping grounds era of drag racing, the "Grumpy Lump" period.
I got there in 73 for drag racing. 74 I started circle track racing cars and ran on there short track and 4 other tracks regularly. Thanks for the pictures , Gary
My favorite too Those were the days of the sweet sound of small blocks singing, almost every time we spectated we would see a couple of engines trashed and maybe a transmission, rear end or axle broke. (no rev limiters)
Really enjoyed the photos. Thank you for taking the time to post them. I love the "Two For The Show" Nova. I wanted to try to bring some light and color back to some of them, and eliminate some simple distractions. I also cropped them square to resemble our old Instamatic prints. If you object, I can easily delete this. Remember, these were posted by Tickety Boo and originally taken by his late friend.
x2 I've seen Nomad quarters put on regular wagons but never regular wagon quarters (and trim) put on a Nomad.
