I want one of the Magnesium Pontiac valley covers! How many of them you think are still around?

Yep I've never seen a Pontiac Valley cover like that even on Mickey's cars maybe I didn't look close enough

I bought a pair of BBC as well as a set of BBC Cal Custom and a set of steel BBC and a pair of late model factory BBC aluminum finned ones the MT pair are the only ones I am planning on keeping.

Well I've been selling off a lot of my collection. I have decided that getting my coupe done is far more important than having shelves lined and wallhangers. Just sold my Howard aluminum heads and M/T valve covers. Please note these are not your average die cast M/T covers from after Mickey Thompson sold to Holley in 1969-1970. These are Sand Castings. The lower bolt reliefs are fan shaped and wider at the top not straight, also the engraving block is thinner and only cover the bottom 3 fins. So yes these are cool.

Lol, yeah, old habits die hard. I was towing a big materials trailer building my cabin in the sticks and the gutless 305 was struggling. Found a good deal on the huffer and cured that right quick. Then earlier this year I grabbed a nice 350 from an LS swap guy, rebuilt and put it in. Doesn't really need the huffer now but what the heck.

When I was checking breather placement the other day I noticed the bottom of the pcv slug is connected to fin differently on different covers

Then I also noticed the oil fill cap is clocked in different positions as well

I've had several sets of the bigger breathers but never those smaller ones

    20220921_165206.jpg

I think dual smalls on sbc covers with knockouts intact would look cool
