That picture had this description on Shorpy.

"In the late-summer of 1957 my father ran across a trailer load of 1958 Edsels bound for their debut at a dealership somewhere in West Tennessee. I found these poorly-preserved slides in the bottom of a box of old newspapers and other junk. The ads said, "The thrill starts with the grille!" Yeah."

 

Had to laugh at this one. I got pulled over in AZ a couple years back. Watch out for the white lines by the weigh stations.

Am I the only one that looks at all the pics for clues trying to figure out where the pic was taken. The one in post 1245 we talked about a few years back. I think it is Victor, Colorado.

 

I pulled the one in post 1247 off FB and there they said Mt. Rainier but looking at other pictures of Mt. Rainier I am not so sure of that.

 

I find my self looking for where and then I start looking for a date, year mostly. Post 1247 could have been six months ago or 60 years ago, cannot see the license plate and I saw people dressed like that around here last year so ? on that one.

 

Doesn't look like a USA license plate on this one. File name on photo indicates Tripoli - Libya?

 

I think that is mt Rainer..........looks very similar to pics I googled.
