Kenny was a member since 2011, a great racer and person, he passed on Dec. 11th. I met him at the Fremont Drags around 1985. His Willys was an absolute "Show Stopper", and for a street legal car to be competitive in A/GS back then, was something. He was a quiet, unassuming, humble, and a great friend. Wow, I didn’t see that coming. I knew of Mr. McCandless when I was a kid ( young that is, pint sized) he had a candy red ‘41 Willys that ran eights on the track. He used to show up to the local cruise night and bench race with all the older hot rodders ( good times). His family will be in my prayers. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
He was my friend for many years, we only raced once & he beat me. he ALWAYS reminded me of that!! one of the best men i ever knew! Kudo would you get ahold of me please. THANKS Chris
R.I.P. sir. Did not personally know the man but acquaintances that did typically commented, "nice guy". Watched that beautiful red Willys run at Seattle several times, as Marty mentioned, "Impeccable". Condolences to friends and family. John
