    It’s all about the customer and price, expectations. I recall shopping for a paint job on my pickup I’d just primed. I I wanted done was sanded and sprayed. No one would touch it without taking it all the way down and starting over. I wasn’t looking for show quality etc, just shine and to seal the primer

    Wound up at Maaco, they gave me what I wanted at a price I could afford to pay.

    That said, OP does some good work from what I see posted and looks like done in a timeframe his customers want.
