Hello. I got my hands on a 46 dodge wc that I am starting to build. I am trying to figure out what tire size people use on these? It is going to sit low 7-8 inch ground clearance. I am going to run a 15" wheel. Any suggestions on actual tire size? Need to figure out tire height before I can start the suspension. Thanks!

Your suspension choice isn't very traditional. Sounds more like a Street Rod instead of a Hot Rod.

I see. Sorry. Is there a better place to post this? I could also just take that part out as I am just looking for tire size recommendations...

Yeah, removing the suspension info should p*** muster.
If you are planning a 7-8 inch ground clearance, you are looking at some fairly tall tires on a 15" wheel.

I was thinking 27-28 inch tall. I see many build threads but non of them say what tires they are using. I could also go up to a 16 inch. Looking at rally or smoothie wheels

I like about 2 inches rubber rake, so 31" rears and 27" fronts work for my eye.

I ran 225 60 15 all around on my 39 Dodge (same body as your 46) bobber truck with 7" x 15" wheels. Gene

I've got 6:00-16 all around on my '42 FARGO.
