What a cool Mercury. A four door with great chop and some fine touches. Who needs a coupe? Great job.
Wow! Now that's thinking out of the proverbial box.i have never seen a four door done without that center pillar. Looks great. Congrats on job well done.
Yeah, that's absolutely sick, love it. The forward posts are amazing, I never thought a 4 door could look fast sitting still.
Every once and a while I have to come back to this thread and stare at the pictures, what a bad ass build. I'd give my left nut for this car.
Why haven't we seen any photos of this car at a car show? Maybe they don't have car shows in Kamloops.
We have'nt really had a lot of big here lately with covid and all, took it to a few smaller shows where people really seem to dig it. Just sold the car earlier this year to a guy on Vancouver Island and he's been taking it out to shows a lot there. He's a pretty well known hot rodder and there's some pretty big shows there, so I'm hoping it gets some recognition.
So we're the front doors lengthened to normal two door length? Keeping the rear doors only shortened is a killer compromise
The color alone is pure fire. I did a model of one in a similar color, a GM black cherry. Every show I took it to, it won something. One show in 2011, it took best paint, best custom and best Mercury. I took it to a new venue in 2023... still winning.
