What was your process for creating the rockers? Looks like you out the 90degree bend in then make the curve but how is the curve made?

A labour of love. Is this a client's car or your own? I know full well the level of commitment required to achieve what looks so effortless in a pictorial sequence.. . .

This is a friend/clients car. Thank you, it's a lot of work but I think it's worth it.

Here's a video of it cruising to the Ventura Ventura Nationals.

We used thumb nail dies to shrink the leg of the 90 & hammered out the distortion.
A deep throat kick shrinker would have been the best but we don't have one.
Thanks, also Clark showed Wendel how to channel it and he went to work! Wendel was a big part of his build! It's too bad he doesn't do this for a living or we'd try to hire him!!

We made some brass center cap pieces of our logo. We used brass to coordinate with his dash color. Here is another pic of the 40.

I'm glad this got bumped or I wouldn't have ever seen it. Your photos of the little details are great. It was like reading the best textbook ever.

I assume the car is finished, by now?

That chop looks so nice! Are things good enough under the black paint to leave it or will it go to bare metal at some time? Bob

What an amazing job! The only problem with re-styling an already beautiful car like this one is that it makes the stockers look lame!
