I haven’t seen one of these yet, but thought it would be cool to see your car club plaques. I’m 18, and along with some of my buddies, we want to start up a pre smog car club to try to get more young bucks into the hot rod/ cl***ic car hobby. Wanna get ideas from you fellas on the h.a.m.b.! Take a look at O'Brien Truckers, Dennis has thousands of car club plaques for your viewing pleasure.

He made our club plaques. HRP

I made my own years ago,
"chanellers" [east coast] club plaques …
everything on it must have a 3* rake so the buck can be removed without the sand collapsing... at GE. we had some strips that were sheared off and it warped them leaving a rake in the strips...
cut out an outline of a ford or chebby coupe, sanded the edges for rake...
ordered the letters from a local stove shop that cast the plaques for me,
drilled 1/32" deep holes that would be hidden under the letters... same on the backside of the letters...
used the "slow" J B WELD sparingly to glue on the letters...
I was able to have it run through a 6" sander with a micro cut each p*** till I got the letters and car the same hight … then filed all edges to remove the sharp angles...
$21 each for the first [15]… $14 each for the next order... there are [27] on the planet...
    .couldn't find a pic.

Thanks for the link. A lot of nice organized plaques by city/town.
