Trouble posting to classifieds through H.A.M.B. app?

I’m getting a “you don’t have permission to start a new post” message when I try to list stuff in the classifieds. Anyone else run into this? Really bumming out my parts clean-out. View attachment 4935615

You need to post ads using a browser, not the HAMB app. Might that be the problem?

I'm 72 yrs old, all of this computer jumbo is all Greek to me. What's the hell is the difference between a browser and an app.
I'm having a problem posting a photo ' it wants the URL what the heck is a URL or how do I post a photo what happened to the copy and paste method?

A browser allows you to 'surf the web'. Some of the most common are Chrome, Safari, Explorer.

I hear you, Mouse! Shoot me a PM if KJSR's link doesn't help you out for the photos. I'm generally pretty good with this stuff, but get snagged every once in a while...

Browsers are the programs that let you access the internet - think Windows Explorer (I think it's microsoft Edge now), Google Chrome, or Safari on macintosh/apple stuff. There's some other ones out there too, but they all do pretty much the same thing - let you access the web.

Apps are the confusing thing, because they're the new kids on the block. Think of them like a shortcut to get to a specific site on the internet. So if you open the HAMB app, you're on here straight away (but can't post photos to classifieds I guess...), where if you use your browser, you have to open that first, then go to the HAMB. Browsers let you do more things usually.
