Technical how do i measure these thunderbird hubcaps? is it that bottom lip? Thanksthanks

    Are you wanting to know what size wheel it fits? That style was '70s, 15"

    Doesn’t appear to be. No center hole in cap and the perimeter ring looks like it is designed to fit into the rim’s ‘safety bead’ depression, retaining the cap in that manner.

    I am going to sell them and other hubcaps so am researching for the correct size and what they go on.

    ok thanks it does measure 15" across to that part on the picture above

    Those were original to a 1976 T-Bird, which makes them not in the time period we like to focus on and some might call them..... unattractive. But, beauty is subjective so if you dig em, slap 'em on.

    haha ok I was just trying to get some information for hubcap measuring - I will sell the oldies on here! Glad you let me know they are not appealing!

    yes i have a lot of hubcaps i am going thru so need to know how to measure them. i have googled but can not find detailed direction on measuring older hubcaps. Thanks for the info.

    Grab a 15" wheel and you will figure out where you need to measure to get that 15" measurement.
