Me and my father built this car in our garage. I let it go, kept in touch with most of the owners knowing I would try and get it back someday. I lost track of it somewhere in Georgia. It has or had my H.A.M.B. plaque on firewall. If you know where this car is lease let me know. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Erm...one question, @Donmon, why does it appear that the shifter is located to the left of steering wheel? (Good luck with your search!)
Probably not as outlandish of changes as what Nitrobrother posted but my personal experience says that a newer owner may have had entirely different plans for changes to the car and that street rod T with all the billet on it, an entirely different interior and 15 inch wide rear tires on some bling rims may have been your old T. The guy who bought my 51 Merc and finished it did a completely different build than the look I had planed for it. Nothing a week of unbolting bumpers and hauling them to the chrome shop and taking the mini truck wheels off it and putting white walls with hubcaps back on won't fix for the most part but you have to know what you are looking at to know that it is my old car that I sold 30 years ago.
It had a th350. (Cable shift) I wanted the shifter out of the way. And keeping with the spirit of using what I had laying around for the build, I fabed a bracket and put it there Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Not handicapped ..at least physically. The shifter worked good up there. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
......Tank shift without the 'ank'......that's entirely a first in my lifetime...it's all good...dare to be different. That said there was shifters in the dash, push ****ons so yeah...why not...bet it was a great conversation piece...
Not that I’m of any help, but maybe some timeframe of when you sold it and when it went to Georgia might ring someone’s bell?
