So I've been offline and out of my garage since 10/2005. Lots of crazy things happened in life, and I'm much better for them. Had to change my focus from Cars and Fun to Home and Work, but I wouldn't trade anything for it. This week we made the decision to finally Finish up the Ford and get her back on the road. I've got a nice laundry list of stuff I need to put together--but compared on how far we've come this should be a week or two for me max: Ford Fix List 1. New Intake Manifold & Gasket Set 2. New Carb. - (Still have bugman's Loaner...) 3. Diode For Alternator to allow Key to turn off car 4. Exhaust Manifolds 5. Exhaust Pipes (Flexpipe sucks when you have a big hole cut in your floor) 6. Floor Closeup - (See #5, gotta do this to get a shifter in. 7. Shifter + Cables 8. Valvecover gaskets leaking oil (Though I like the smoke coming out of the engine) -- That's not too bad, right? How's life around here these days? It's nice to be back again. Thanks again to everybody who helped with the Ford on the last go-round, I've still got plenty of favors to pay back down the road -Scott
Holy Shit...! Welcome back... and a Pizza and a PBR will do just fine...! What have you been up to...? Where have you been?
Thanks. Well, quit my job, started a company. Been two years of 24x7 work with no end in sight, until recently. Finally got a good enough team hired to be able to step back a bit and get back to doing things I enjoy. It's nice. So are you still way out in Milwacky?
Hey guys, cleaning the garage this winter to prep getting this going this spring.... Realized I have a once running, been sitting in my garage for a year, ~49-53 Mercury Flathead V8, attached to a working Ford-O-Matic 3 speed. Anybody looking for one? I'm in Madison, WI. Have an engine hoist to help get it into a truck... My wife would love if I got it out of her parking spot You can shoot me an email--wipinball@gmail.com
